Directions to Northern Lights 2008

Please be aware that I87 is a north south interstate, toll free north of Albany. The site's exit 18 is approximately one hour north of Albany, three hours south of the Canadian border (not exit 18 in the Hudson Valley, toll road).

From north and northwest of Glens Falls,NY and from Canada:

Take your best route to the Adirondack Northway I-87 south exit 18. Turn left off exit ramp, and then follow ***

From south of Glens Falls, MA, CT and points further southeast:

Take your best route to the Adirondack Northway I-87 exit 18 (north of Albany,NY). Turn right off exit ramp and then follow ***

*** follow approx 4 miles into downtown Glens Falls. At fork in the road, continue straight following Broad Street. At second light, road forks, stay left - onto South Street, follow through two more lights onto Bay Street (monument at light). Follow Bay Street to next light. Large gray stone church is on the left. Park wherever available, limited parking in church lot. Please look for the green and white SCA signs.

From Northern VT:

Take your best route to VT-22A SOUTH. Merge onto US-4 WEST (crossing into New York) ~8 mi SLIGHT LEFT onto BROADWAY/US-4/NY-22: continue following US-4 (~10 mi) RIGHT onto NY-149 in Fort Ann (~9 mi) Turn LEFT onto Bay Rd - follow past ACC and Lowe's and a big 4way light. Follow into downtown Glens Falls, large gray stone church on right. Park wherever available, limited parking in church lot. Please look for the green and white SCA signs.

From Southern VT (Bennington area):

Best route to US-7N/ETHAN ALLEN HWY Continue to follow US-7 N. Slight left onto VT-279 W (Crossing into NEW YORK). VT-279 W becomes BENNINGTON BYP which becomes NY-7. Turn RIGHT onto E HOOSICK RD / CR-102. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto MAPLETOWN RD / CR-102. Continue to follow CR-102. Turn RIGHT onto NY-22. Turn LEFT onto NY-22 / NY-67. Continue to follow NY-22. Turn LEFT onto E MAIN ST / NY-372. Continue to follow NY-372. Turn RIGHT onto CR-62 which becomes CR-61. Turn LEFT to stay on CR-61. Turn RIGHT onto NY-29. Turn LEFT onto CR-49 / OLD STATE 338. Turn RIGHT onto NY-40. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto NY-197 / MAIN ST. Continue to follow NY-197. Turn LEFT onto NY-197 / ARGYLE ST. Turn RIGHT onto US-4 / NY-197 / BROADWAY. Turn LEFT onto BRIDGE ST / NY-197. Continue to follow NY-197. Turn RIGHT onto FORT EDWARD RD / CR-28. Continue to follow CR-28 which becomes US-9.

Follow over bridge into Glens Falls US-9/Glen Street. Follow the rotary around - third right around the circle - to Glen St. Follow two blocks. Turn right at the light onto Bay Road. Large gray stone church is on the left one block down. Park wherever available, limited parking in church lot. Please look for the green and white SCA signs.
